WSACCO WAZALENDO SAVINGS AND CREDIT COOPERATIVE SOCIETY LIMITED

The Chief of Defence Forces Gen David Muhoozi has received 306 sports gear donated by Wazalendo Sacco (WSACCO) for the 18 teams participating in the 13th Edition of CDF ‘ Cup hosted by Uganda Air Force at works play ground in Entebbe municipality.
While officiating the ceremony , the CDF applauded Wazalendo for its continued support towards its members and especially the sports which he said are good for the forces in terms of health, discipline and promoting talents of the forces.
The CEO Wazalenso SACCO Col Joseph Freddy Onata ,said that sponsoring the tonament was not a mere donation but a demonstration of WSACCO’s giving back to its members who have made it stand.
He further said that wazalendo has moved great miles in terms membership and share capital which he said is a reason for supporting and identifying with the members.
“WSACCO is an Institutional SACCO for the Ministry of Defence and UPDF so we cannot separate ourselves from the forces. They are our own and we shall continue supporting them and many other Ugandans through our Corporate Social Responsibility vote because we do not believe in developing alone.
Team winning is our greatest aim for the development of the forces and uganda as a whole ” He said.
The launch of the tonament that will run for two weeks was attended by the Deputy commander Air Force Maj Gen Katsigazi Tumusiime, the General Manager Uganda Air Cargo Lt Gen Nakibus Lakara, Maj Gen Joram Kakari the camp commandant General Headquarters, Maj Gen Charles Okidi the Chief of Staff Airforce among other invited guests.
