WAZALENDO SACCO APPOINTS A NEW DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

UPDF Wazalendo SACCO has received a new Director of Finance and Administration following the completion of tour of duty by the current DFA.
Col Jack Mugyerwa has handed over instruments of power to one Maj Yusufu Magero Buha at WSACCO Headquaters in Kiwatule Kampala.
Col Joseph Freddy Onata the CEO Wazalendo SACCO presided over the function where he applauded the outgoing Director DFA for the dedication towards his work, and asked him to be an ambassador for Wazalendo wherever he is going, he added that Col Jack had left a very strong foundation for his successors shall build on .

Col Onata encouraged the incoming DFA to emulate the methods of work by the Out going Director and even do more . He emphasised transparency ,team spirit ,and the revolutionary methods of work by the UPDF where patriotism and service delivery to people are a key.

“As Wazalendo SACCO, we work together, brain storm together and achieve together as a team, I discourage individual interests and encourage learning from each other for individual and institution growth and development” stressed Col Onata.
Col Jack who is the outgoing Director of Finance and Administration appreciated the UPDF Leadership for the opportunity rendered to him to serve WSACCO and said he was very sure he has not disappointed them.
He also thanked WSACCO Board of Directors, the CEO and all staff at WSACCO for supporting him for the period he has been there as DFA.” Without you I would not have made it through,my strength has been valuing everyone’s input and teamwork which I call upon the incoming DFA to take on” Col Jack said .

The incoming Director, congratulated the out going upon completing his tour of duty successfully.
He also appreciated the leadership for choosing him to take on the sensitive position of DFA and pledged to work for the betterment of the institution.
“Iam happy I am not going to start from zero. I am going to start from where the out going DFA has left” Maj Buha stressed.

After the handover the CEO hosted the out going DFA and staff to scientific luncheon that was attended by the Col Dan Tizihwayo; the WSACCO Board Secretary, Mr. Atalyeba William , Director Operations, Lt Col Amooti Mpabeisi Assistant Political Commisariat , Maj Arthur Kwezi; the Head ICT, Head Human Himan Resource Maj Wesely Aiine ,Head Finance Maj Julius Katanaka, all heads of departments and staff at WSACCO Head office representing the rest of the branches due to Covid 19 guidelines .
